Product Support Life Cycle

There are three levels of Hinemos support — General Support Service, Extended Support Service and Special Extended Support Service. The support service will be provided to a maximum of 10 years in total.

[*1] The version number of Hinemos is composed as a.b.c, where the first number and second number a.b denote the major version and the thrid number c denotes the minor version. For instance, ver.5.0.1 means the major version is 5.0 and the minor version is 1. The minor version c may be omitted. In that case the relevant information should apply to all minor versions with the major version matched.

General Support Service

General Support starts from the major release of each version. The duration is 3 years for ver.4.0 and earlier, and 5 years for ver.4.1 and later.
Minor releases, bug fixes and patches, and technical support are available during General Support.

Extended Support Service

Extended Support will be available when General Support ends. The duration is 2 years for ver.4.0 and earlier, and 3 years for ver.4.1 and later.
Technical support is available during Extended Support.

Special Extended Support Service

Special Extended Support will be available when Extended Support ends. The maximum duration is 2 years.
Technical support is available during Special Extended Support.
